IV2017 - This is a Compression Gauge/ Tester for Gasoline Engines. It measures the cylinder pressure of an engine in order to diagnose its mechanical condition.

It has two measuring scales:
- Outer ring: BAR (Atmosphere) 3 - 20
- Inner ring: PSI (Pounds per Square Inch) 50 - 300

This gauge is of simple design and construction: a sheet metal body manometer with a fixed hose assembly. This version is often used for small engines, such as lawnmowers, mopeds, outboard motors, classic bikes etc.

It can be attached in common cylinderheads, which have an M14 x 1.5 mm thread. The sparkplug typicly has an 20.8 (13/16") mm drive hex. The adapter is useful for engines with a small sparkplug size: M10 x 1.0 mm thread and a 16 mm (5/8") hex.
