Composite lay-up fixture mold

This is again a quick machinable mold part. Use this part to check how quickly you can generate a toolpath and this model will also enable comparing the toolpath qualities of any two software.

Manufacturing:
1. Size up the raw material.
2. Hold it in a vacuum bed or scale down the model and hold it in a machine vice.
3. Rough it and finish it.

Casting techniques:
1. Create a pattern using a 3D-Printer.
2. use sand casting technique to get it to shape and mill it out to hit the tolerances
or
use die-casting to obtain a good surface finish.
