Last crawled date: 4 years, 4 months ago
Filement used: ABS
Temperatures: 240 nozzle, 120 bed
Print speed: 40 mm/sec
Layer height: 0.2mm
Brim: No
Raft: Yes (thin) 1 top layer 1 base layer
Supports: No
Print time: ~6 hours
Infill: 70% (you probably could get away with less)
Large and small bolts, nuts, spacers and connects for use in various projects. You need more parts? Just print more :-)
Great for on the fly construction of gadgets to gently compress stuff, hold things, a stand, etc. Note that this is not as simple as printing, say, a number 14 bolt thread and a number 14 nut thread. 99 percent probability it will NOT FIT.
I took care with tolerances so that in most cases the parts should easily fit together but you can always use a bit of fine sand paper on the threads if necessary. Or scale either the nut or bolt up/down by about 5 percent (or whatever works for your setup).
Version 2. Small holes on triangle and rectangle line up. Thickness now 3mm instead of 5. Give me feedback if you find parts not fitting well and maybe I can do so adjusting but in most cases all you have to do is slightly scale a piece up/down (like 5 percent).
