A fully 3D-printable standalone filament spools holder:
Universal- for every spools size and type.
Best bearings imitation- smooth move.
Minimization of storage space (when disassembled).
Fully printable! No bearings, no glue etc. (there is place for screws but they aren't necessary).
I made it because every design I found doesn't meet my requirements. They need bearings or printable bearing imitations doesn't give smooth move. Another design works well but are BIG - toooo big. Another models use 3d printer parts as construction (stand) - it deforming 3D printer construction in my opinion. Many models doesn't predict that if radius of spool is bigger you need to increase wheel distance to make it stabile.
So in my design I try to solve all this problems.
INSTRUCTION:
SCREW NOT NESSESERY! - I made place for it because I predict that in special cases stand would flip.
PIVOT HOLE SIZE - pivot is piece of filament - holes are made for 4 MM filament but I think it could work with smaller. If necessary of course you can modify the model. If you do that - please send me it - I will add it for everyone.
It is possible that you will need to MANUALLY improve holes size like in my cases. I made it by drill.
