This was designed for the small volume of a plane's nose cone and based on the alexmos simplebgc hard/software. I documented the motors used already in my skeleton gimbal build.(http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:310676) I got the board for $60 on ebay, from China of course. I like this design but I am wanting to design a tighter one that uses some gears...more to come.
** this version has a holder for the MPU6050 accelerometer which is typically standard with the alexmos hardware
