This upgrade part for the "Woodpecker CNC 3018" and similar engraving machines (1610, 2418) is designed to add a protective cover to prevent access to the high voltage PSU terminals when using a power supply mounted to the frame alongside an "Eddystone" enclosure box for the mainboard.
I used a 36v 10A power supply mounted to the frame of my machine which allows higher milling speeds to be reached (9000+ RPM) than the stock 24v (7000 RPM). I first had to check that my mainboard could handle the voltage and the onboard regulator on the board was fine with this.
It simply has 2 M3 nuts pressed in either side and is mounted in place through the ventilation holes of the PSU with 2 M3 bolts.
You will need:
2x M3 Nuts
2x M3 Bolts
2-Part Epoxy / Super glue if the nuts fall out when trying to screw it in (optional)
Check out my other thing for the mounting brackets for the PSU!https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3052647
