This little thingie reduces bolt bounce, allows to use forward assist and doesn't cost as much as original one.
After printing, preferably using PTEG, stuff it with something heavy like lead or tungsten (I've used chopped up lead shot), fill with glue and insert small square into hole in the back. It's where cutout from bolt catches ABW, so if it wears out just rotate it. Small hole in the center is for 1.75 filament, which can be used as securing pin. Longer "leg" on it's back is meant to slow the bolt down on buffer instead of slamming it on back plate.
There's also solid version that can be used with heavier filaments like bronzefill, printed from metal or just used for lost PLA casting.
Forward Assist version is slightly longer so it doesn't fall off on it own, but won't work as ABW.
