Citrus Tower

This is a model of the world-famous, historic 22-story Citrus Tower located in Clermont, Florida, just west of Orlando. Built in 1956, the Citrus Tower was nestled in the rolling hills of once rural orange groves as an observation tower and as a public relations centerpiece for the citrus industry. Today, one can see the Walt Disney World Resort 24 miles away, and downtown Orlando at 26 miles in addition to the many lakes of Lake County, amid suburban development.
