Want to make a perfectly round hole with your jigsaw?
Use the included guide, put it in upside down, add this adapter, drill a center hole, fasten it and go around in perfect circles. Measure the hole radius from the center of the centering bolt to the outer blade edge.
This was made specifically for this Skil 800w model, but I have seen this type of guide rulers in many jigsaws.
The adapter is aligned perfectly with the cutting edge. The adapter is spaced perfectly from the surface of the material. When using the adaptor do tighter it a little in the centering hole for maximum precision, do not keep it loose. Also do not forget to tight the guide with the screws on the jigsaw itself.
Be safe.
Use with m5 screws, washers and nuts or wingnuts as in the example.
