The original film Children's games was released on November 9, 1988. The film spawned six sequels and entered other media such as comics, video games, commercials, and the upcoming television show. The first, second and fourth films were successful at the box office. Taking into account the proceeds from the sale of video, DVD, VOD and products, the franchise has received more than $ 250 million. The franchise won the Saturn award for Best horror franchise.
