This is a child safety lock that should fit on most doors. Children won't be able to use the doorknob with this cover on it, as the whole cover will turn instead of the knob. An adult is able to easily turn the knob by using the holes in the cover to grip the doorknob.
If this part doesn't fit your knob, you can easily scale it up or down in your slicer.
Please keep in mind that this design has only been tested on a single toddler, I can not guarantee its safety and effectiveness. I recommend only using it on non-safety critical doors (like a coat closet). I would never use this design on something like a basement or shop door.
