I made these a few years back in order to make professional looking cherry blossom chocolates. It consist of a 3d printed housing, food safe silicone linings and plugs to cast the silicone linings.
I printed them with ABS and smoothed them with acetone vapours, letting them sit for a few days before making the silicon linings. I used platinum cured food safe silicone from smooth-on to make the linings. I also included a tool that can be used with a air gun in order to separate the molds when casting the linings.
-Assemble the case and lining with a rubber band and pour chocolate into the mold, let the chocolate set.
-Remove the centre 3d printed section and peal the lining out to produce a cavity.
-Put a maraschino cherry in along with cherry jello (let jello cool to room temperature before pouring), leaving about a quarter inch, 6mm for a chocolate cap and put in fridge to set the jello.
-remove chocolates from fridge and let them warm to room temperature
-cap the molds with chocolate and put back in fridge to set the chocolate
-remove chocolates from the mold by using a unsharpend pencil or anything that will fit through the bottom hole in the 3d printed housing, and peal the lining off
