In 1842, The United Standard railway decided to run a line to Cheronville, as it would be more profitable than sending crops and farm goods in canal boats. The railway was completed in 1847, and the city has boomed ever since. The railway has brought more than just a quicker and cheaper way to transport goods. Many people have taken advantage of the location and started businesses, factories, and warehouses to keep goods in. Population in the town has soared up to 5000 people, and many more are still expected. The many factories have made the low lying area around the river dirty and busy. People have now moved out to the areas surrounding the valley. All of these new structures are built in both Greek revival, and the much newer Italianate style. The Many factories, and warehouses located along the river and by the old market are becoming unsafe, since some of them were not originally meant to be factories. Just now, a fire broke out when a lumber in a mill caught a spark. Even with the bad news, coal, and iron ore have been found in the nearby area. A few new companies are now signing papers to expand lines into Cheronville, hearing the news. #1860 #3d_model #3mb #Cheronville #City #large #map
