I made this part to replace the original fan duct, because the original fan duct cooling effect is not good.
I tested the original fan duct, although the original fan is not weak, but the cooling effect is still not good, because most of the airflow failed to reach the nozzle, but flowed away from the middle and upper part.
So I recreated a fan duct with a central and upper duct.
This version allows more airflow through the duct below, while allowing the airflow above to more effectively cool the extrusion nozzle.
I printed the test sample with the new fun duct, No significant sagging before 65°, 70~75 is barely acceptable, and the underhang of 75~85 becomes more serious. From the result,I think The cooling effect is improved.
You can choose to add or not to add support, and the printed results will not be much different.
Support can be easily removed.
Some of the details of the uploaded file are messy, but this does not affect printing. Small-area model errors are automatically fixed by the software when printing.
If you don't have a longer screw, you need to remove the metal barrier on the outside of the fan.
