Cessna 172 MIP broken down into 11 sections for printing on a 300x300mm bed. Panels are 6mm thick, but should scale up/down as required in your choice of slicer/CAD software. Instrument cutouts are 80mm and 59mm.
Full scale dimensions overall. Cutouts are slightly different at present, namely the 59mm cutouts. To be addressed in a future version, and I will fix the STL files soon as I know some are not watertight (obviously missed a stray polygon), Cura will slice these files as they are supposed to be though.
Print with any settings you like, takes around 1kg of filament. I recommend printing the parts face down for a smooth finish. Use supports for interlocking edges.
This is technically a work in progress, but perfectly usable as is. Not all interlocking edges have holes for bolts, I used hot glue for these parts. Once mounted to a wooden frame the whole panel is nice and sturdy.
Use these files as you see fit for personal use, all I ask is you do not sell anything. This work was brought to you by the power of beer, please consider buying one to fuel more designs :) paypal.me/lewisavio
