I made a fatal error recently. The 787-839 and 787-814 are proving to be too big to replace the 767-239s in Central's fleet. As a result, the 767-239s will remain in operation until a suitable replacement can be found. Instead the 787-8s have been transferred to the overseas routes to replace the 767-339ER fleet. The 787-914 aircraft will still serve with Central, but will be put on very long routes such as New York to Rio de Janiero or Paris to Los Angeles, meaning the North Atlantic fleet will be spotted on the West Coast in the future. Also, to replace the sold 767-239, one 767-201 has been purchased from US Airways and has been re-registered N966R. If all are wondering, yes, the Central 767 fleet uses CF6 engines like the 757 does. Central is trying to have an all General Electric powered fleet, but planes such as the MD-90-30 (V2500), 717-215 (BR710), 747SP (JT9D), 727-239 Super 27 (JT8D) and L200-1F (NG2X) are preventing this from occuring at the moment, but most of Central's aircraft are GE powered.
