Centering Vice - Using this in my laser engraver. I align the laser to the center of an object (Crystal Cubes) and then secure the vise to the laser bed. Then, when I insert a new piece to be engraved It is in the right position to be engraved. This is required because each crystal cube varies slightly in size.
Everything was created in Fusion 360 and the files are available if needed.
Assembly: When sliding the left and right end into the frame it will be tight! Moving them back/forth for 4-5 minutes will wear them in and they will still fit tight but with very little friction.
Starting the threaded rods into the ends should be much simpler now. Keep in mind that one is LEFT handed threads and the other is RIGHT handed threads. So, you must match up the correct threaded rod with the correct end..
I'll print the entire thing out and make a video to show how to assemble.
