Cement Tile Divider 20 x 20 cm. - Diviseur Carreau Ciment
This is a cement tile divider, used in the production of cement (floor-)tiles.
The traditional method of producing cement tiles has used brass dividers for over a century.

The 3D printed dividers have some advantages.. :
cost of production : 3D print vs. manual cutting, forming and soldering of brass strips
easily copied and reproduced
exact diagonal, mathematical, symmetrical designs
IDENTICAL copies can be printed - allows for multiple people to work on the same IDENTICAL design
divider can be sent as .STL file to producers/shops overseas
easy to modify, easy to create variations
... and disadvantages :
more fragile than brass dividers of course
more support-structures needed
more wear and tear, but hey... you break one, you print one... 8-)
