This is a clip for adapting a lens to a cell phone, turning it into a microscope. The model was adapted from the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:667471). The main difference is that this model uses a lens extracted from a cheap laser pointer.
To get to the lens, unscrew open the laser pointer top and remove the small black plastic screw. The lens can be removed very easily (see image).
The microscope can be used for photographing or making videos of very detailed objects.
You can see some videos of microscale chemical reactions I made with this adapter in my blog (in portuguese): http://www.xciencia.org/2020/04/05/um-microscopio-no-celular/.
