Further down the thread he posted a second version of the models which includes some additional mounting holes for accessories. This thing is a plate to mount the X endstop to the direct drive X-carriage which is similar to the arrangement spauda01 designed into his bowden X-carriage.
I'm still building my D-Bot printer, so this part is not yet in use, but it does fit and I don't see anything yet that will affect its operation.

I added a trip arm that can be attached to the X-rail. Since the switch sticks out the side a bit, you lose some travel, so I made a trip arm that is more narrow.
