I designed this simple case to hold an LCD model 2004 (20x4) with a Raspberry Pi Zero that requires no screws or glue. The case itself has rounded top corners as well as the corners of the LCD window. The sides have a wood grain texture due to the nature of the 3D printing process. Finally, the back panel utilizes a simple clip design for quick access to the electronics.
The LCD fits perfectly inside with no need for glue and the window displays the text with just a 2mm (0.08") depth. The Raspberry Pi Zero fits flush on the bottom between the LCD and the back of the case, it too requires no glue.
In the back, you have access to the mini HDMI and two USB ports. To manipulate the micro SD card sufficient space has been provided internally.
The case is 103.5mm (4.08") wide, 63.5mm (2.5") high and 52.5mm (2.07") deep. I coated the front and backside with a couple of coats of Minwax Fast-Drying Polyurethane to give it a smooth finish but left the sides untouched as the print gave the illusion of wood grain. Finally, I spray painted it with satin black paint.
