I wanted to put the control unit under my table, all available space on the table is dedicated to the track :P
I opened the CU (there's a hex screw under the sticker along with the other phillips screws), cut the wires, soldered longer ones and added JST connectors. I also added a second power connector while being at it, I will use it later on to bring power to other sections of the track. Warning : don't use too long of cables, it will make the lap counter fail to work properly!
Then, mark the back cover and use a good plastic knife to cut it cleanly in two parts.
