I don't recommend using 3D printed versions of this in 4-Mation, unless you're using a super strong filament.
It's mainly for folks to prototype a lego carousel before getting a 4-Mation kit with a machined solid perspex hub - however a printed version in a polycarbonate filament like PolyMax PC might work ok - providing you can print it without warping.
