working 1/25 scale car rack
things you will need to complete this will be.
2x #10-24 nuts
2x #10-24 all thread rod approximately 5 1/2in in length each
1x piece of 3/32 piano rod/ wire to make the pins for the rack arm pivots
all of these extra materials can be found at hardware store and hobby/craft stores i.e. Lowes and hobby lobby
to assemble.
STEP 1 place a #10-24 nut into the receiving end of the nut holder and place nut and nut holder inside of the top part of the rack arm frame super glue may be required
STEP 2 assemble rack arms and rack pads again glue may be required
STEP 3 cut 4x pieces of 3/32 piano wire to length to make the pivot pins that will attach the front and rear rack arms to the rack arm frame
STEP 4 place rack arm frame assembly inside of the rack post and position towards the bottom of the post
STEP 5 cut a piece of #10-24 all thread to about 5in to 5 1/2 inches and place one end inside of the rack knob this should be a friction fit
STEP 6 glue rack top on top of the rack post super glue model glue or shoe goo could be used here
STEP 7 insert the all thread rod through the top of the rack and thread it into the nut placed inside of the rack arm frame until the knob is sitting on top of the rack
