I changed from my 80D APS-C Camera to a full format 5D. As a result I needed new lens and ... my Meike FC110 Ring flash didn't work anymore because the lens thread went only up to 72mm but I need 77mm.
I designed an adapter that clicks in like a lens hood. No worries with the tiny threads on the lens and it's fast and easy to apply.
The design is straight forward. I printed it in PLA and found a few tiny screws that I used. The tow parts can be glued together as well.
I figured out that my PLA (Janbex) isn't that great and printing it in one part with lots of support brought rather poor results. However, it does work and no need to refine it.
