Last crawled date: 5 years, 4 months ago
UPDATE: 20.12.2019
I fixed ugly surface after supports - used some git, filler, black color and lots of sanding.
Its not perfect but not bad... Finished, completed and mounted on my Tundra!
DONE!
HI!
I get inspired by not-named hobby shop and decided to not buy it but test my skills. So I created my version of "Candy Dropper". I admit it looks very similar to original one which I am kind of proud :):):)
Opening mechanism fit 9g servo, and on the other side are M2 ball joints.
1.5 mm carbon rod used for opening mechanism
2 mm carbon rod used as door axles
3x 2.5x10 screws to mount servo, and servo arm
2x M2 screws used to attach ball joint
!!! I had to adjust mount holes for my Tundra as they are not perfectly aligned in my plane. Standard dimensions are 50mm form each other but I had to move front hole bit more to the back just to match my plane. !!!
Have fun!
