This calibration geometry has dimensions of 100mm in X and in Y direction.
I found it difficult to perfectly calibrate my printer using a 20mm by 20mm calibation dice. On some tight fitting battery covers I got slightly too large dimensions, although calibrated from a dice everything seemed perfect.
This 100mm dimensioned geometry allows for 5 times the calibration resolution of a 20mm dice.
Therefore calibration of X and Y will be better.
All other dimensions on this geometry are factors of 5mm, so you can measure multiple locations and average.
