CALE Waveshare 7.5" v2 E-ink back-case
by Thingiverse
Last crawled date: 6 years, 2 months ago
This a custom back case to use along the front case of Washare, that comes with 12 magnets, but is very thin.
This redesign aims to make place to host as many things you want including:
5000 mA Lion battery
TinyPICO esp32 (From unexpected maker)
12*12 mm square push button (Reset)
USB charger/Programmer hole
Demo video using a ESP8266 as controller
If you are willing to use this in your office I would like to have a small donation so I can dedicate more time to work on this project.
If you are interested in making your own google Calendar that will refresh each 2 hours and use less than 1 mA / hour in deepsleep, this can be of your interest. Please follow the CALE project in hackaday.
And browse or donate to collaborate using CALE Github's sponsorship.
Note: hat-cover-eink.obj has a small issue on the top, but it printed out nicely, the idea of this little piece is to screw it to the hat to make a flat surface and to glue it directly to the back of the Eink (Using a transparent tape in between)
This makes the assembly of the case much easier since otherwise you need to use a rather large and cumbersome cable.
