Cable Staple by SilentMike

I bought this nice flat LAN cable to hook up my son's PC. I had to keep the cable off the ground so no klutz can trip over it (guaranteed to happen).
The design is simple, I wanted to avoid having to use any supports. All I have on hand are 14,3mm (9/16") staples, I haven't tried with other lengths. Just slip them onto the cable and hammer them in.
Tip: Using masking tape to hold the cable in place while hammering in the staple worked pretty well. You might also be able to hold it with needle-nose pliers.
