This is the Joystick I made to puppeteer my cable-driven animatronic tentacle mechanisms.
Here's a list of parts and tools you'll need to finish the printed Object:
Tap and dye set
Power-drill
Rotary tool with cut-off wheel
Misc. nuts & bolts
4 1/2" clothesline pulleys
flat washers, (to accomodate pulleys)
5mm brake-cable housing
1/16th" aircraft cable
Ferules for 1/16" wire-rope
Wire-rope clamps for 1/16" wire-rope
Compression spring (optional)
Any cable-driven tentacle mechanism
