It took Longer because I work on a pen plotter feature and a better extruder!
At 10.10.2020 IT WILL BE FINISHED with YouTube videos, build-manual and user-manual!
To build this 28BYJ-48 3d printer cost around 34€ or 40$
The printer is not so good because it use instead of the normal 8$ nema17 the cheaper 2$ 28BYJ-48 Motors to save money and shopping time a lot of parts are 3d printed! (You can see my FIRST print result on the photos)!

The design goal of this 3d printer
Build a low cost 3d printer (next a ultra Low cost printer will come, follow me for the reminder)
a 3d printer wich use many 3d printed parts to reduce the costs
testing 3d printer design ideas like the X-axis-top rail or the paper-print-bed
continue to learn Fusion 360

Tools you need:
a 3d printer (with PLA filament)
pliers
scalpel or knifes like this
a Dremel or metal sew to cut the rods
screwdriver
Parts to buy:
Paper or Cardboard as Print-surface | Free, you can use old paper
1 x a 12V power source like a ATX | You can use some of a old PC or get it free from somebody
(3 x 40mm fans optional but recommend | 0,8$ x 3 = 2,4$)
1 x Arduino Mega | 8$
1 x Ramps 1,4 and the A4988 | 6$
4 x 28BYJ-48 5V motors | 4x2$=8$
1 x 1,75mm HotEnd with Temperature Sensor | 4$
1 x MK8 Extruder Gear | 1$
20mm spring for the extruder | 0,15$
FZ0463 Extruder bearing | 0,45$
1x PC04-06 with 50cm Bowden | 1$
1,2m GT2 Belt | 1,20$
2 x GT2 Belt Bearing | 2x=1,40$
(2 x GT2 with 20 teeth or you can print | 2x=1,2$)
1 x 8mm lead screw (higher than 10cm is recommend, I use 30cm) & 1x leadscrew nut | 4$
2 x 1m 8mm Rod | Local Hardware store: 2x1$= 2$
50 x 8mm screw nut and 50 x screw nut protection ring |
20-40 x cable ties | 0,50$
15 x 3mm screw high 20mm | 0,35$

3d printed parts:
I printed the parts in PLA because PLA is cheap, easy to print and smoothy. Keep in mind that your print direction (vertical or horizontal) makes a big difference in the stability!
