Update 22-10-2020
STL for 'Transmission bracket base' was missing, I've added it to the files.
Would you like your 3dsets Landy to be more durable? Would you even like giving your transmitter to a 4 year old? Don't want to worry about putting you 3d printer to work (again)? Don't search any further.
Make your Landy bulletproof with this conversion!
I've designed a few parts to print to help you mounting metal parts like axles, transmission and transfer case. Other printable parts will help you with aligning the axles in the correct position or function as a drill guide. There are two versions of the bumper mount. The 1st should fit the standard Landy bumper. the 2nd one should fit the ARB bumper. (Great design bumper by another group member which can be found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4266021)
Here's a shopping list of the additional (metal) parts you need:
L-shaped aluminium profile size 65x35mm, 25mm width;

8 pieces of M4 threaded rod (4x 100mm for upper arm, 4x 95mm for lower arm) For the upper arms in the rear you can try to give the rod a small radius, to avoid colliding with the bed).
You'll also need some M3 screws and nuts in various sizes. You'll just need to check what fits best.
Please keep in mind that this conversion will give you a lot more speed and less torque. Even a simple 'Silver Can' can still do the job.
Considerations for further improvement:
Track rod should be on the backside of the front axle. Steering geometry is off, but not a hugh problem while driving off road;
Servo steering link hits the chassis with large suspension travel. Could be replaced with a new steering link with a curve, to give it more clearance.
Suspension travel in the front is limited due to the servo being mounted on top of the axel. I've tried to mount the gearbox as high as possible. It only expresses the problem when both front wheels are moving up and down simultaniously.
