I've been working a bit this very nice model. I upload it as Remix, because I've had to make some modifications to use it as I wanted.
The original model, has no holes in the columns to continue along the fence.
Similarly, the "door" can only be used as a door. For along the fence does not look all so alike, I think that intersperse every 2 fence panels a door as a fence. The result is seen in the photos.
Improvements.
You can now continue the long fence everything you want.
You can now use the door as part of the fence
You can now mount the door in the opposite direction (as the holes are not centered columns, are placed slightly more to the out for the effect of the fence is more realistic)
Or you you can also ride a double door
among many other possibilities ..
