My design:
My organizer is perfect for students with a compact learning space. It also holds most things that would be on a desk or that would be used in an everyday activity. This design will hold things from pencils, small spiral notebooks, sticky notes, headphones, and pencils and pens. Especially in the times we are in now a lot of people are working or doing school at home so desktop organizers are essential.
My design solves the problem of a cluttered desk because it has a space for most things used in a desk. Like scattered pencils and pens and placement of SD cards. Also a phone holder with a charger spot and a place for sticky notes and eraser. Also places for spiral notebooks and headphones.
Problems:
I had few problems but I did run into some. First I had to find a way for a charger hole in the phone holder but the angle that the phone would be at the phone would not be able to have a charger. Also I had to find the exact space that would fit an SD card and that was hard trying to find the dimensions.
Redesign:
If I were to redesign I would try to put a charger hole. I would also add a place to put paper.
How would 3D printing help strengthen my design:
If I had a 3D printed model I could fix everything that was a bad shape and would not fit. Also if something did not work I would be able to look at it in my hand and be able to see everything I needed to.
