Another gadget for the kitchen: a stand for 4 wooden plates.
The first version did its job, but was way to massive and printed 24h. The second version is significantly smaller, needs less than half the filament and holds the plates even better, because they "sink" into the base. So I could also make the triangle ribs even thinner.
I also designed a basket type version, but my favorite is definitely the triangle version.
The holders are designed for "standard" wooden breakfeast plates of 25cm diameter and ~1,5cm thick (distance between ribs is 16.5mm).
If you need versions for a different number of plates or different sizes, write a comment. It's no big thing to design the variants, but OnShape doesn't allow to download a customizable file which I could upload here
The basket version should definitely print upright without any support, but for the triangle version I decided to print it lying on the side for better surface, which of course requires support between the ribs. (in Cura use 10% concentric support, which will create vase mode like support with a single line wall)
