This is a bread maker paddle removal key
... to help extract the paddle when it gets stuck in the loaf.
The dimensions were taken from a Panasonic SD-257 bread maker, though presumably it is likely to fit some other makes and models too.
The aperture in the paddle appears to be just over 8mm diameter, and just over half-circle, so I have designed the key with a 7.5mm diameter shaft. The notch in the shaft is 15mm long.
Somehow the bread maker paddle has only stuck twice in the last 6 months since making this, but on both occasions it did the job admirably, removing the paddle from the loaf nice and easily. Just the job.
