Time for something a little different..I wanted to introduce the idea that workstations should be items to display and be proud of. We spend huge amounts of hard earned cash to buy these machines yet they are often mistreated and abused underneath our desks. Enter the Future workstation that is a true desktop machine.

For the past 15 years Boxx have been supplying seriously powerful high end workstations to many industries ranging from Visual effects to film production, engineering and medical industries. Boxx has continued to help power the leading brands forwards, helping to innovate and push the boundaries by not having not to worry about restrictive hardware capabilities.

Sadly from the humble beginnings in 1996 to the current day, Boxx machines have been hidden away…stuffed under the desk or bundled into a cabinet, out of sight out of mind!

Not any more…

It`s time to bring Boxx into the limelight. No longer hidden and forgotten about. It`s time to unleash these Beasts!

Let`s use Digital Emulsion to paint a new future!

Our choice of hardware primarily comes down to the functionality and build specification that suits our requirements but it cannot be dismissed that aesthetes play a large part in which products get chosen above the rest. Rather than make computer cases which are literally boxes that get stuck under the desk and booted around or become expensive foot rests, now it`s time to really have a desktop workstation that you want to be proud of owning. One that you don’t mind being fully on display and blatantly pushing the Boxx brand in front of faces like it should be!

**** If cabling or wiring had to travel between layers, the top of the bottom, and bottom of the next, layers could have cutouts in them allow for this.

Disclaimer: I used numerous bits and pieces found amongst the grabcad library for design and illustrative purposes. I am really thankful for this wealth of accessible parts and I wish to thank the community. I would thank personally too but I can`t remember all of the bits I used. So…Thanks!
