I recently bought a zombie survival road trip game called "Hit Z Road," and, after playing with some friends, decided that the game would feel more real if the cardboard bottle cap tokens were replaced with bottle caps. I don't drink many beverages in bottles with metal caps (beer or soda), so figured I would throw something together in Blender to print out.
The game requires 90 tokens in 3 different colors - Red, Blue and Yellow. So far, I've printed the red and blue, and will start the yellow tonight. They don't require any support, and they print well in sets of 9 or 10 (about an hour per plate).
Since these are game tokens, I didn't bother with authenticity or accuracy in the model - they're roughly the same size as a standard bottle cap and give the general impression, but I made the walls thicker and cut out a lot of the fiddly details. I plan to print out round stickers for the tops to complete them and make them work with the game.
As always, comments and suggestions are welcomed and encouraged!
