ccStill printing this to test.. the point fits 1.5L bottles with a flattish base.. just tape it on.. I remixed it and made it hollow from here https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:858319. You might want to add some manual supports around the stepped edge inside. my print had a little stringing but nothing major. The main cone doesn't need supports at all.
The nozzle I remixed from here https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:13898.. I had serious issues printing the original even after I modded the rear thread to be smooth.. the fins were almost separate .. anyway instead of screwing in a 1/4 NPT compressor quick release which is less likely to be available in a household unless you own a compressor this is made to use the waste schraeder valves tire centers cut out of wheels and throw away. then you can just screw on a bicycle pump.. the valve just push fits into the rear , put some water in first , but not too much.. then push in valve and pump till it flies off .. try varying the amount of water as there will be a 'perfect' level.. too much gives longer thrust but more initial weight which cancel out , too little and it won't go far. i'll upload photos of the whole thing assembled once I finish printing the nozzle section. Forgot to mention I also added a step inside the threaded end to take a rubber washer. should take any std 3/4 plumbing or hose fitting tap washer.. just so it seals better.. the threads aren't really strong enough to handle a load of PTFE tape for sealing..the valve diameter hole goes straight through to the bottle so should be a reasonable jet.. if I get time i'll add a taper there to smooth the flow . but hey it's a toy right ? loll
PS the valve in the photo is complete .. you need to cut of the rounded end.. if you recover scrap ones from tire depots they will already be cut off when they remove them from wheels
last EDIT printed and test flew this... with a compressor attached to pump the pressure in fast , about 6 foot of old galvanized guttering as a launch slide.. and about a cupful of water it flies well over 100'. i'll upload the video soon as I work out how, my kids love it.https://youtu.be/C0KOMemp9hs
