A part to replace the "classic" clamp attachment shipped with 99% of boom arms (for microphones).
I have a MICKE desk from your most favorite Swedish shop that doesn't have any "flat side" to clamp to. So I created that adapter that is screwed to one side. It fits between the drawers railing and the "top part" using 3* 6x45mm flathead bolts + nylon nuts.
There is a slope in the design to go over the lip on the side of the desk. The arm will sit 1mm above the surface to allow enough motion.
I believe the dimensions will fit most of the "cheap" boom arms you can find on mass consumption website.
I included a pdf giving all drill hole sizes and measurements for the part.
