I didn't want to have to mount it on the wall and so thought this may work as a solution.
UPDATE 8th Feb 2014: I have now gotten round to mounting glass plates in this and it does tip over forward. For me this isn't too much of a problem as I will drill holes through it and bolt it to a table. I will at some point update it to a version that works.
