As many other Bonavita owners before me can attest, it's a wonderful device WHEN IT'S NOT BROKEN!
The lever is a two-part affair, and initially the external segment broke a tooth.
After printing a different replacement part from Thingiverse, it turned out to be too rugged, and broke the joining tooth on the inside segment of the lever.
This design hugs the mounting post instead of using the intended engagement, which means I expect to never have to replace this part again.
