I bought a new 50l petrol tank for my boat and attached it to the bow region. To fill the tank I decided to apply a gas pump nozzle adapter in the GFK-Shell with a petrol stable tube (inner diameter 38mm).
All connecting parts I could find on the www didn't fit on top of the tank. So I decided to test the Petrol+2stroke oil constancy of PLA-> works great.
This THING is a custom solution for the original tank cover(blue), a 90° 1 1/2 " tube and a three-step adapter (37.5mm, 50mm, 58mm).
it was hard to measure the original thread so I designed some test prints in a couple of iterations for both threads ( cover & 90° tube).
In the top section, i provided a 16mm tube adapter for the tank vent and also an infill guide to avoid petrol leaks.
