Do you need a reliable PSU for your long coding and programming sessions?

I will show you how to modify an HP DPS-1200FB PSU (HSTNS PL11 in my case) to be suitable for using with ISTAP and ESYS.
It is very cheap and easy.
You only need to attach some wires and a couple of resistors.
330 ohm for waking up the PSU
6K8 ohm for boosting up the Power Delivery Unit up to ~15 volts
12K ohm for tampering the Over Voltage Protection up to 15 volts.
In my case, I have added a voltmeter and amperemeter to check the PSU at any time. This kind of PSU have also a I2C bus where you can attach an Arduino board (or Raspberry Pi) and monitorize more parameters such as temperature, fan speed, power delivery status, etc.
Be carefull and use good quality materials due to the max power you can manage with this!
I have used 6mm2 wires of pure copper rated up 40A each. Max output in my case is 14v and 80A as needed for BMW cars. But the most of the time, only 30A are enough for this purpose.
This is my list of materials from Aliexpress (wires have been bought at local dealer)
Aliexpress refer link: https://a.aliexpress.com/_uxTaq3

Voltmeter/Amperemeter (Up to 100A): https://aliexpress.com/item/327170548...
The included shunt is not used in my case due to its big size...

100A Shunt: https://aliexpress.com/item/100001380...

Female bannana connector: https://aliexpress.com/item/328788010...
This is because you will be able to use the PSU also for experiments and RC battery chargers.

Connectors and hardware: Bought at local dealer (type: RV5.5-8 and RV5.5-4)
Other hardware: 8mm bolts, nuts and washers from local dealer
6mm2 / 10 AWG wire from local dealer
