Berlin police task force of the 1950s, also known as the raid command. The police officers wear uniform model 47. The shako was introduced in 1951 and was worn until the 1960s.
In order to give the police a uniform, uniformed image in public, it was decided in 1947 to obtain a uniform uniform for the three western sectors, which was issued at the beginning of 1948 and was called the Model 47.
The police officers wear this model, which was worn until the Lippschitz model was introduced in 1961. The black belt also contains the striped pouch, the so-called star box and the handgun. On the belt lock is the police star with the Berlin coat of arms.
The black shako was presented to the Berlin population on September 30th, 1951 on the occasion of the large police show in the Olympic Stadium. Before that, a peaked cap in the same color as the uniform was worn on Model 47. The patrol officer wore long cloth trousers with his skirt; boot trousers were also used for special units.
