Just my remix of the beehive candle mold by jnalezny. I have extracted and slightly modified the original internal mold shape and redesigned external shape to be hold with rings. I found some misalignment between original design parts but I think that was due to my printer settings. Print 3x the Beehive-my_mix.stl as in the picture and once Beehive_rings-my_mix.stl. Parts do have holes to place paperclip wire and hold wick in centre position. You can also use a toothpick.
Internal shape might need some touch of sanding depending on your printer settings. Same applies to rings or just print them 1% larger than the mold.
I have printed mine in PETG scaled down to 70% and the wax (100% bee wax) mass is exactly 60 g. use at least 4 mm brims.
To make a candle I place the fully assembled mold with wick in fridge freezer for around 5-10 minutes. Next, I take it out and wait 1 minute till some water vapour will condensate on the internal mold surface (you can slowly breath into the mold to accelerate this process ;). Then pour the wax being at around 50 degC into the mold and let it cool down in ambient air for around 1 hr and dont touch it :). There is no need for extra anti-adhesive, the water film+cold mold works great in my case. The wax will shrink slightly while solidification process and needs calm conditions. Fast cooling might cause cracks, be patient...
