Bede BD-5J Microjet Kitplane 1970 by wov

This is a model of the famous little jet from the 70s, well known for it's appearance in the James Bond movie "Octopussy" where it can be seen flying through a hangar. The 3D model was made by myself with Fusion 360. All dimensions incl. wing thickness etc. are true to scale. The wing profile is realistic and even has washout.
The Fusion 360 model will be used for an electric powered RC version with retractable gear and flaps in the near future.
STL files are ready to print without support. I used PLA 0.15mm layer height on a Prusa i3 Mk3 and glued the parts with superglue after printing.
There are two different versions of the Aircraft included. The one called "Bede5_AircraftforStand_RTP.stl" has a hole in the bottom for the stand. The model can be rotated on the stand.
Printing the STL files at 100% will result in a model with 210 mm wingspan making it roughly 1:25 scale to the real BD-5J with 17ft wingspan. The fuselage is 155 mm long.
Feb. 10, 2018: I found a small area at the nozzle with a wall thickness below 0.4 mm which resulted in a minor defect on the models I printed so far. The new STL files now have 0.8 mm wall thickness in this area.
Feb. 25, 2018: All new STL files. Fuselage now has NACA ducts and pins for alignment. Elevator and vertical stabilizer with corrected shape, rounded wing tips.
