If you're upgrading to Bear Exxa, but don't have a Prusa i3 MK3S or a control board that can be used without endstops; you will need to rig up physical endstops, which the Bear Exxa currently lacks. I remixed the original design, by carefully merging it into the design of the Bear X-Axis motor mount.
I upgraded my P802M to Bear Exxa (the original Z endstop is terrible to adjust/tighten). This provides a fixated endstop with a fine adjustment screw to ease setting Z axis height. I used the endstop itself a pattern to drill the mounting holes (few different types out there); mid line is best as mine came out a bit higher than I would like in terms of adjustment (see photo).
