Wanted to try cnc routing so remixed to use routed parts for the barndoor. I used a piece of scrap Oak floorboard.
The electronics is housed in the rebated pocket and the device folds almost flat if you take out the curved threaded rod. Battery pack 4 AA batteries
Alignment is achieved by attaching a green laser
Files include a jig to help bend the threaded rod.
Base plate fits a manfrotto tripod head
