Balalaika

Back in my youth I studied Russian and traveled to the Soviet Union a couple times. One of my souvenirs was a cheap balalaika made for tourists and it sits on a shelf by my TV. .... somewhat disgusted at my present indolence, I decided to make a model of it .... :P (for full disclosure, the wood inlay is much nicer than the cheap painted stencil on my actual instrument). #Balalaika #Music #Musical_Instrument #Russian
